Just saw this sib set and wondered what you thought? Two boys, two girls or one of each? (I know, but I won't tell yet LOL).

It SHOULD be 2 boys but I doubt it really is! I'll guess one of each -

Hunter = girl
Harley = boy

Nope, Casey, Hunter (Jane) is a girl, and Harley is her big brother. ;)

I posted the genders a few posts back, but by doing so bumped the post back up and got a bunch of new replies. :)

BTW, I meant to mention in my reply to you in the other post below (about people on other boards), I love Riorden's name (had it on my last two boy lists ... which I will probably never get to use now that we're on girl #3 LOL). Just wondering if people often pronounce it incorrectly?

Wow ... I think so far you're the only one to get it right. Hunter is actually Hunter Jane, and Harley is her big brother. You didn't peek at the answer a few posts back, did you (LOL).

i read all the posts and already know the answer but i definatly think both names SHOULD be boy names. harley is a motorcycle and just isnt right for a girl. hope the poor girl isnt teased her whole life!!

Hey Kelli,

Thanks so much... a few people get Riorden's name wrong but they usually get PRETTY close...some say Roar-Den instead of Rear-Den...but most people get it right at first but they say it really slowly to make sure they are getting it right...and some people get no where near the right name...they say it exactly how it is spelled (which i honestly can't blame them for) and say Ree-oor-den... for the people who really can't get it right and see him more than once, they call him Rory...b/c after telling them more then 3 times how to pronounce it they still don't get it and im like...okay Call him Rory... other than that people get it...

Thanks for the compliment and good luk on your thhird girl...Im hoping for a girl...on our last try, but If I get a boy again I'll most likely done trying...four will be plenty for me...I don't know If I coulld handle five...let alone five future college tuition...

Thanks

Hey, Casey. We do the same thing with Devanie ... after correcting someone a few times, we'll just say "you can call her Devan." ROFL It's really not that hard, but no big deal. ;)~ Thanks for sharing!

Okay, I like unisex names, but this where I draw the line.

I feel they are both boys names!!
Must be because im not from US, Ive only ever known Harley for boys, more masculine eg: Harley Davidson Motorcycles!! I guess Hunter could be unisex, I like it more for a boy.

Don't worry, it's not just you Kath. I've only ever known one Harley ... he was definitely all boy (and yes, his daddy liked motorcycles a LOT LOL - for those interested in sib sets, his sister was named Daria). I've never known anyone with the first name Hunter, but I've known plenty lately who've used it as a mn (all on boys as well). Somehow, Hunter Jane just doesn't "girly" it up for me. ;)~ Anyway, just thought it was interesting.
