I went to the doctor today, and I am due on February 16,2007. I am about 6 1/2 weeks along right now. I can't wait until Feb. 16!!

My question....WDYT of Brianna/Breanna/Bryanna??? MN would be Elizabeth.

Of the three I like Brianna the best. Are you pronouncing it (Bree-ahna) or (Bree-anna). I like Bree-ahna the best personally. I think it's pretty. It's very popular right now but I like it anyway. Brianna Elizabeth goes well together. I also like Brinley and Brielle. What about Berkley or Burkleigh, Brenaye or Brenae, Breiton or Brighton, or Brayah. As you can tell I like B names. I'm sorry, back to your question, yes I like Brianna.

If you love it, use it. I prefer the Brianna spelling.

First off, congratulations! Feb 16 was supposed to be DS's birthday but he came a few days early. I've come to the conclusion that February babies are incredibly sweet.

Brianna/Breanna/etc. is a pretty name, but nms. It's very popular...more popular than it appears at first glance because of all the spelling variations. I think the real reason I don't much care for the name is that I don't like the nn Bree (Brie/Brea/etc). If I just look at Brianna without thinking about nicknames, I like it more.

Again, congrats on your little Aquarian!

Pretty.

I would spell it Breanna unless she's named for a Brian. Breanna is the original spelling and means virtuous.

Best wishes, Ginger

Oh congrats on expecting! I prefer Breanna- this is the traditional spelling and means "virtuous." If she is named for a Brian, then Brianna, of course. Best wishes, Ginger PS - I know a Brianna Elizabeth- very girly-girl name!

I like the name Brianna, as far as sound etc., but it's awfully popular. but your screen name makes it appear you have an Emma, which is super popular, so if popularity doesn't concern you, Brianna is a nice name

it's a different style than Emma, if that doesn't concern you either. Emma is more of a classic/traditional - even old-fashioned name, it's no hard to find women in their 60s-thru 90s with that name, in fact many of them

Brianna is much more modern/trendy, probably the oldest you'll find with that name are early-to-mid 20s and lots of teenagers. It's still being used frequently, I know a lot of elementary-school aged ones and a few toddlers.

good luck

First off, congratulations and lots of *sticky vibes* are headed your way :o) Now down to business...Brianna Elizabeth gets my vote. Breanna reminds me too much of Brenna, and I just don't like the spelling variation of Bryanna. Good luck in making your decision!
