Andra for a girl, I just love it. WDYT?

Pronounced 'ann-druh', NOT 'on-druh'.

Mommy to Ethan Robert and Logan Ryley

I don't care for Andra at all. It's just not my style. I think it tries to straddle the classic and the creative and doesn't really capture what it beautiful about either. I prefer:

classic alternatives:
Anna
Abigail
Alana
Alexandra
Alice
Amanda
Amelia

creative alternatives:
Adriana
Aida
Aine (pron. Awn-ya)
Alina
Allegra
Amaya
Amity
Anais
Aria

I like it too...it's different, but not weird. It sounds very European to me. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

I think it's very pretty. Unique without being weird, and still has a nice classic feel to it due to its similarity to names like Andrea and Anna. I think it's much better than Brittan, personally, and though I do still like Anwen for you, I think Andra is a better match with your other kids' names. And the fact that you keep coming back to it must mean something, right? ;-)

Anwen has come and gone for me, lol. It's a nice name but I don't think it's for me...or my child, lol. I think it must mean something if Andra keeps coming back to me. I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks!

I really like both Andra and Brittan. I work with a lady whose little girl is named Brittan and she is just beautiful.

I think Brittan is a very pretty name for a little girl. It's definitely a name that sticks out to me. As for the name Andra, it just keeps coming back to me. A sign? I don't know, lol. I'll probably have another boy, anyhow. ;) Thanks for posting, it gave me some encouragement about the name Brittan. :)

Eh, its okay. I am still stuck on Taryn or Megan for you though. Some of the names you are picking out seem so odd next to Ethan and Logan. They just stick out to me. I love both Taryn and Megan, they're beautiful. To me, Andra just seems as if you're trying too hard, sorry.

LOL. I'm not trying too hard at all when it comes to Andra. I didn't go looking for it, it just keeps looking for me, lol. It's not a name I went and searched for, I heard it a year back, maybe, and I really liked it and it seems to be stuck with me for some reason. I liked Brittan paired up with Le'andra' because of Andra in there and I thought why do that, why not just choose Andra for a little girl. I also liked Taryn Andra and Andralyn. I thought, let's cut to the chase here. Anyhow, Andra is a high contender on my list along with Brittan. Taryn and Meghan are nice but don't stick out for me. Brittan and Andra do more for me. My first priority is not to have a name that sounds great with Ethan and Logan. Of course, it would be a bonus, but I do think the names I've been choosing all sound fine with my boy's names. I could choose Ethan, Logan, and Matilda and so what if they're different, lol, they're their own person and I even think they would sound fine together. BTW, I hate the name Matilda but was the first odd name that came to me.

That wasn't my intentions, to look like I'm trying too hard...
