My boyfriend and I are expecting a little girl at the end of January and we have a name in mind, but the more and more I think about the less sure I am that it is the name.


The name we've decided on is Kiley Anne.


Kyle is my father's name, so the female version of Kyle is Kylie. And I just find Kiley more feminine than Kylie.


And Anne is my mother's middle name.


Her initials would be KAR, just

I think that because Kiley (and Riley) are pretty popular that they will grow up fine.

I love that you want to honor your father, but I do think Kiley is a bit young and trendy sounding. What about Kyla?

I like Kiley on a little kid, but agree that it is too immature. When she's older and possibly in the business world that name doesn't speak very strongly to me. Wdyt of Kylar, and calling her Kiley for a nn?

I've never herad of Kylar, it's interesting. I really like names that arent too common or over used you know? Thanks for the suggestion, ill consider it.
