I think we're down to 3. Your thoughts?

Maren Eliza or Louise or Kristina(Derived from Grandma Karen, Gr.Grandma Mary Louise and my sister Mary, Kristina from Danish heritage)
Abigail Ruth (Ruth after my mom and Dh's grandma. Abbie cause it goes cute with sister Jenna)
Eliza Anne or Claire ("Ellie" DD 16 really wants this. )
How do I choose! Does anyone get so obsessed with thinking about it that it almost makes you sick? I swear I'm panicking. Someone help me see this in perspective. It's NOT that big a deal, Right?
Need your thoughts. Thanks
Carol

Good luck!
Kathy
I like Abigail Ruth the VERY VERY best. I think it's a beautiful name with a GREAT nickname (which, btw, goes well with your other girls' names).
Maren sounds very serious and a bit dowdy, imo. It also rhymes with "barren" ~ my best friend, Karen, mentioned that to me when I read your post to her. She said the teasing factor shouldn't be discounted when choosing a name (guess she got teased a lot growing up, lol).
Eliza sounds unfinished...like you're missing the end of the name. Also, the names Eliza and Anne don't flow together smoothly. And Claire combined with Eliza sounds like "eclair" when you say it together "ElizaClaire", so I don't really like that combination, either.
I understand how the choice can make you sick inside from stressing out about it. I've btdt myself.
I sincerely think you should pick the name that YOU like, the one that makes you happy inside, and not worry about what ANYONE else thinks about it (including your 16 year old dd). If you're happy with the name, everyone else will come around to accepting it. :-)
Good luck, sweetie! Hope you settle on a wonderful choice soon!

Thank you for being my friend. Take care.
Carol
I understand. I really do.
Please know I will be praying for you ~ for strength, for peace, for God to provide for every need, even before you realize you need it.
I know this isn't "you". I also believe you WILL get through this dark time and come through to the sun shining again. The other board will be waiting for you when you're ready. No pressure there.
I wish you luck in visiting family on Thursday. That would put me right over the edge, as well (good thing family lives 3000 miles away)!
You aren't alone, Carol. Though I can't be there in person, I am upholding you in prayer, and He is with you always, even when it doesn't feel like it.
Things will get better.....hold on to that and believe it.
((((( hugs ))))) again and again.
~Kate
