My title prettyy much sums it up! We're expecting #6 early October. No name is really jumping out at me. Honestly, we never can decide till we see the baby. We like spunky names for girls. Not too frilly, but pretty. Boys names, I guess we tend to like a little more dramatic. Dh insists on a "manly" name, LOL. Whatever that means--he loved Blaise and I didn't have the heart to tell them there are girl Blaise's out there!!!! We named our Blaise after St. Blaise.

Our other kids are:

Erica Colleen
Kelsey Megan
Drake Matthew
Blaise Christopher
Britta Lauren

I definitely don't want another first name starting with "B." Blaise and Britta were names we loved, but I don't want half my kids to start with the same letter. I went through a baby name book and wrote every name down I like. Can you come up with combos or other suggestions for me? :)

Sasha
Cora
Audrey
Audra
Adrienne
Eva
Josephine
Lena
Maren
Meredith
Brooke (middle name only)
Justine
Simone
Martina (I love this, only I hate Marty for a nn)

Isaac
Adrian
Damien
Heath
Seth (can only be a middle name, long story)
Dominic
Devin
Roman
Rowan
Pierce

I would say dh leans towards Isaac for a boy, but it seems to be quite high on the top 100 list. I don't personally know any, though, so maybe it's kind of regional. We're leaning toward Sasha or Cora for a girl, but it's so hard to be sure. LOL!!!!

I would love any help you could give us! I really enjoy thinking about baby names and dreaming about if it's a boy or girl!

Hugs,

Jaime

OK, seeing Zane as a suggestion reminded me of a name I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I love Thane for a boy. Drake, Blaise, and Thane sound really cool together, at least I think!!!!! Problem is, our last name is "Cheaney", pronounced with a long A sound like "chain." How terrible is Thane Cheaney. It's probably too rhymey, but I really wish I could use Thane.

I think dh is pretty stuck on Isaac Damien, which I like. We'll see though, when the baby comes!

Yes, Thane is cute w/your crew! However, I don't know about Thane Cheany. That is a tad rhymey. Maybe Teague? It's said to rhyme w/egg.

I know, Thane is too rhymey. :)

I like Teague, but I must be such a dork! I thought you would say it with a long E sound, like "Teeg." Dh vetoed that name a couple babies ago, although I could run it by him again. He forgets what he doesn't like, LOL!

Thanks again!

I think it's the long 'a' sound, but I might be wrong.

We seem to have similar taste for girl names....I love Cora and Audra. My Cora is Cora Charlotte. I also considered Audra Pearl, but settled on Anna Pearl for my child instead.

Sasha - Very cute and matches great with the names of your other children.

Audrey/Adrienne - Both great names, but I prefer Audra.

Adrienne/Josephine/Meredith - These names look a lot longer than your other children's names. I don't know if this matters to you - just something to consider.

Eva - Very cute, but Ava is really popular right now.

Lena - This is cute too but it just seems very Russian to me.

Maren - I have never heard this name before. It's okay but I prefer Marina. Also, I see "moron" as a teasing nickname in this child's future.

Brooke (middle name only) - Very nice middle name.

Justine/Simone/Josephine/Martina - I am not a huge fan of turning boy's names into girl's names by sticking some extra letters on them (although my name is a variation of Andrew, haha). Just not my style. Plus, you already did this with "Erica". If I were you, I would not do it again. But out of these names, Josephine is my favorite. I like "Audra Josephine"....I think it sounds cute.

Martina - It sounds too much like Martini to me. Like Alaina said, I prefer Marina.

You have some great choices...good luck with the new baby.
