Hey ya'll - I am in Austin, Tx and would love your expert opinion (You're obviously researching a lot for names yourself). I am 5 months pregnant and think I have settled on the name for my baby girl.

I wanted her first name to be Hannah for some reason and then found it in an old family pedigree chart from an ancestor born just before the civil war. Her name was "Hannah Mariah Scott" - I've settle on the name:
Hannah Mariah Olson (with my husband).

Anyways - My whole point here is I don't know how this name sounds to others and/or
if I'm not thinking of any bad nicknames or reasons NOT to name her that.
I'd love your TWO CENTS! Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

Both the name Hannah and Mariah are very pretty you could use either one as the first name or middle name.

Normally - I wouldn't pick a fn & mn that end the same. However, Hannah Mariah sounds pretty and the connection with your family is also very nice. I think it is a great name for your daughter.
