I like Rose.

Ida-Rose makes me think of that song "Lida Rose" from an old musical. It does have an old-fashioned ring to it that is very sweet, though. Is it a family name.

Amandine reminds me of green beans amandine (with almonds). NMS at all.

I really, really like Amandine! I've never been big on Ida or hyphenated names...but Ida-Rose does have a cute sound to it.

It just sounds like a potato casserole to me.

Also, close your eyes and imagine a pretty, dark-haired 16-year old girl. Her friends call out to her across the cafeteria, "Ida-Rose." Sounds a little stuffy for a young woman.

I like Ida! I'm not fond of hyphenated first names but overall Ida-Rose Amandine has nice flow. I'll give it a thumbs up! (then again, last year I was considering India Amandine Rose which isn't so far off, is it? ) I like Ida-Rose, sweet!

I love Ida Rose Amandine but like the pp I'm also not a fan of hyphenated names usually.
