If not Boston, then...

We are hot and heavy in our baby name discussion. I, as you know, don't know about the name Boston, although my husband absolutely loves it. And is at this moment trying to convince me that it is the name. Anyway, as I said before our other children are Bailee and Bradyn- and I realize that we do not have to have a "B" name. However, I would really like to. The first two were not intentionally named "B" names and we thought we were done. So we have created a little dilemma for ourselves. These are the other names we have tossed around -
Girls
Brooke
Brynlee
Blair
Bella (he hates this name!)

Boys
Brett
Braxton
Boston
Please help us in deciding on alternative names as I don't know that I can do Boston. (By the way, thanks for all the help on the other thread and I am definitely taking every opinion into consideration). Thanks for your help.

Girls
Brooke - I like this name. I know a lot of Brookes from the 70's, but haven't seen it much these days.
Brynlee - I like Bryn better
Blair - Not crazy about it.
Bella (he hates this name!) - I love this name. It just has a beautiful sound to it. (But you shouldn't consider a name that one of you hates).

Boys
Brett - Nice strong name
Braxton - Reminds me of Braxton-Hicks contractions
Boston - YOu already know my opinion (LOL!)

I'm glad to see that you aren't still considering Boston for a girl. I suppose I can see it on a boy, but not a girl at all!

Of your other names, I think Brynlee is too close to Bailee, and Braxton and Bradyn are really too close as well (besides Braxton only makes me think of Braxton Hicks contractions). I like Brooke though. Brett is okay, I prefer Brent, but even that is NMS.
My favorite B names:

Brooke
Bridget
Bronwyn

Brenner
Brady - much too close to Bradyn though
Beckett
Bennnett

I still really like Blake but some other "B" boy names could be:
Blake, Brit, Brock, Brooks or Bryce. I like Brock with your other names. We were seriously considering naming our first son Brick until my MIL said that people will call him "Brick the prick". That changed our mind real quick and we named him Brady!

For girls I like: Brynn, Brooklyn, Betsy and Brooke.

For your girl, I like Brenna and Bethany.

For your boy, I like Bryce and Blake.

Best of luck to you!

I like Boston for a girl or a boy. As for other names, for a girl I like: Brooke, Brooklyn, Bianca, and Blakely. For boys I like: Baxter, Brock, Brooks and if not Braxton how about Broxson? Good luck! I know how u feel....I'm in the same boat and due this Feb!!

I think if you really want to go with another B name, at least make it differant enough from the two you have already. I think you should stay away from Br names, because you already have a Bradyn. I really like Bella for a girl, but if your husband hates it, it isn't going to get used. So I guess Blair for a girl or Boston for a boy, though I'm not really fond of either.
