I'm new here!!!!!!!

Hey to everyone on this site, just like to know if there are anymore UK women registered on here as everyone seems to be from the USA(not that I have a problem)I feel kind of left out as i'm expecting my first baby and everyone seems to reply to all other post here, not that in a way i'm complaining as I'm not.
I asked for help with baby names for a girl,decided(Toniesha-Louise) and got no feed back and I would like other people to look at the name I chose and maybe think "Hey cool name" or something along those lines.
Anyway, any hints for a first time mother would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Niki x

Hi there,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I think the name you chose is interesting. I like Louise, and I like Louisa even better. Toniesha is one I haven't heard before. Does it have a family connection?
My thoughts are that it seems pretty long. If you like the nickname Toni, one of my favorite names is Antonia. Antonia Louise would be pretty!
Good luck in your search for the perfect name for your baby!

Hello Niki!
Congrats on your pregnancy! I am expecting my first child as well. I am from the US. But to be honest, I find that I like the information on www.ivillage.co.uk better a lot of times! Seems like there are very honest answers and I like the different perspective of your country! You can also check out that website!
I think your name...first and middle...are very cool. I think some cool nick names can stem from it, too. (Toni, maybe!?)
The best hint I can give you at this early stage is that if you experience heart burn, but don't want to take any chemical laden medicine, papayas, or papaya enzimes are very helpful. Also, my chiropractor told me that if I am experiencing heart burn or indigestion I am lacking something that is in pineapples and should eat fresh (NOT canned) pineapples every day until the problem stops. Now, I am not usually one for fruit, but after I had my first bite, I was hooked! It was delicious and helpful!
All the very best to you! Enjoy this great time!

Im from the uk too and am pregnant with 4th child i like the name alot especialy the middle name as that is my middle name and my daughters! First tip about being pregnant enjoy it! you can eat as much as you like and not worry about getting fat. Pragnancy weight is alot easier to shift than normal weight.
Hope this helps

I like the name, I have not seen it spelled with the O before. I've seen it Teneisha and Tenisha.
good luck
Thanks to all who sent me a message to welcome me to the site, its great that many of you like the name I had chosen for my baby, but unfortunately me and my partner have decided to change the name to "Makenzie Louisa" as a friend of my mum's has just had a baby and called it what I was originally going to call it "Toniesha Louise"
Who knows if I have twins(like a lot of the family think I am)I could still call it that(minus the Louise).
I am very excited about expecting my first baby and appreciate the good luck some of you have given.
Also am I wrong for buying little things now, like scratch mits, booties, baby grows etc??
Thanks Niki x
Hi there,
Thanks for your message...No the name I chose doesn't have a family connection, its just something I like, plus I like to be unusual. But I changed my mind again,me and my partner have decided on "Makenzie Louisa" then her surname.
Thanks Niki x
Hello,
I'm not from the UK, but I'm a major anglophile, if that helps!
I did read your post about Toneisha Louise, but didn't respond because... well... I'm not technically crazy about Toneisha. :) I don't dislike it, particularly, though. I LOVE Louise, though. Love love love it, along with Louisa.
Is Toneisha an unusual name in the UK? It might grow on me. I like distinctive names, so I really like that aspect of the name. Is it TOE-neisha or TAH-neisha?
Don't feel left out - hardly anyone ever likes my name so I get lots of negative feedback, which is just about as bad as none at all. ;) You might consider putting up a poll. People usually vote, even if they don't post a ton of comments.

I like Makenzie - very cute w/nn Kenzie.
