I assume you want it pronounced Jay-lin...so I would avoid the spelling Jalyn or Jalynn because people may say Jah-lin instead of Jay-lin

This is a very trendy, madeup name and you are going to have pronunication issues no matter what way you spell it. I think Jaelyn is best, but looking at most of the options I wouldn't be sure if it was a girl or a boy, and I think as an adult, she won't be taken seriously with a name like that.

Jalynn seems the most long-wearing to me, and that's usually what I go with--what I can imagine an adult using as their signature.

I like it spelled Jaelen or Jaelan. I think if you spelled it Jalyn/Jalynn---it could be confused for Ja--Lynn. JMO. Its a great name and if you love don't let anyone change your opinion on it!

Congrats on your pregnancy!! Jaelyn or Jaelen. The less "y"s = less confusion re: pronunciation.

First of all, congratulations!

As for getting down to business, I like Jalynn the best out of your spellings. Really, though, I think I would prefer Jalen.

I like Jalyn or Jalynn. I don't think the pronunciation would be that difficult. There are lots of names where people have to say clarify the way to pronounce it. I also like the sound of Juh - lynn. :)

I dislike 'ay' and 'ae' in names. It just makes me think of Jason turned into Jayson. Braden as Brayden/Braeden.

If you're definitely going to use this name, I would go as simple as possible with the spelling. It already sounds 'trendy', so adding a weird spelling just puts it over the top. I prefer Jaylin as a name. Of course, if you're going for that verb look, how about Jailin'?
