First of all, the name is spelled Mason.
The combo is fine and the name has nice flow. I voted That's terrible because of yoru strange spelling, but had it been spelt Mason Tyler, it would be okay to me. Not great, but not awful. If "Baby Daddy" dislikes it though, I would search for somthing new.
I have to go with everyone else on this ... It reminds me of Bacon, so that's not great.
I would say that Mason Tyler is a much better option ... unless you want it pronounced Make-In ... and then I'm with the daddy all the way.
My husband and I have a rule that both parents need to love the name or it's thrown out. One of the great things about my husband is that he frequently forgets whether he likes a name or not!! :)
There are lots of great names on these boards if you're looking for more options ... many that I would have never thought of before.
Oh and before I forget do any of these names have any meaning to you ... like family names or names of special people in your life? Do you like names that are more unique or that the name itself has a lot of meaning? Are these things important to your baby's daddy?
