First of all - congrats!
Those are both nice names - they do seem like a bit of a mouthful - is there a reason for the number of middle names? If it is a bunch of family names, maybe you could save some for future children?

Emalee Elizabeth Collette Ann - I do prefer the Emily spelling. I just love the name Elizabeth. Collette is sweet, not heard of much. And Ann is just a classic.

Damion Lloyd Michael James - Damion is not my style, but it is a fine name for others:) I do prefer the spelling of Damien. Michael and James are nice classics. I am guessing Lloyd is a family name, so in that case I like it, but otherwise it is nmsaa.

Good Luck and HTH!

Congrats to you and DH! Here are my thoughts on your names:

Emalee Elizabeth Collette Ann- I really, really, really dislike the spelling of Emily. It is a super popular name to begin with (#1 in fact), and changing the spelling will only mean she'll have to spell it out every time someone writes her name. The mn's are all very nice. Family names? I think 3 mn's is a bit overkill, but they're all OK names.

Damion Lloyd Michael James- Again, I really dislike the spelling of the first name. Damien or Damian are preferable for me. See girl comments for the mn's, I feel the same way about these.

Hope your pregnancy goes well! Let us know how everything goes and if you'd like any more name suggestions to ponder.

I agree with the previous poster. There are too many names. Why not just Emalee Ann? I prefer Emily though- not Emalee- or Damion Michael- again, I like Damien better. Lloyd is nms but that's just me.

LOL... I hesitate to post, as the PP have summed up my opinion(s) as well!! Great names, just too many of them and I'm not a fan of making up spellings for names.

Maybe you could do as the PP suggested, pare down the names and save some for future kids?

Congrats on your pregnancy! As for the names, here are my honest impressions...

Emalee Elizabeth Collette Ann-- Is too long IMO. I'm ok with having 2 middle names, but 3 is a bit much to me. I personally wouldn't go with a name in the top 10, so Emalee is out for me, but even so I'd go with the traditional spelling of Emily. Are these all family names? I much prefer Collette Elizabeth or even shortening Elizabeth to Eliza Ann.

Damion Lloyd Michael James-- again, I'm sorry but I really dislike that first name. I really like more traditional names for boys, so I'd go with James Lloyd or Michael James.

Congrats on your baby!

These are all nice names to the ears, but both of the first names hurt my eyes. Emalee looks sort of ridiculous. Emily is the correct spelling. Damian is the correct spelling of that one.

Also, do you really need all of those middle names? Two is fine; three is a bit overboard.

I'd vote for Emily Elizabeth Colette or Emily Anne Elizabeth & Damian Michael James/Lloyd.

Hope this helps!
