I was starting to think that we could do a name that contained 'an' and not necessarily have to be at the ending.

From your list, I only like Declan. Fintan feels more "look at me, I'm IRISH" in comparison, Garran looks altered somehow, Davan makes me think of "davenport"--like a sofa, Breckan could be doable with two cs rather than the ck, Hughan looks like Hugh with an add-on to fit the pattern, Talan has a hippy feel that sticks out with your boys, Bran doesn't feel like a complete name (I know it IS, it just doesn't feel like one,) Van makes me think "van," Dean is nice but I feel like you need two syllables, and Stephan would get you stee-ven from most people I know (Stefan would get you the pronunciation you want.)

Other ideas:
Vaughan (it's a valid form of Vaughn)
Harlan
Brennan
Kieran
Tiernan
Roman

I like Declan, Dean and Stephan (prefer Stefan) from your list.

You might also like:

Newman
Aidan
Finnian (prefer this to Fintan)
Prestan
Rowan
Keegan

I also like Christian and Evan, but neither meet your criteria.

Newman - nms

Aidan - way too popular, plus it's my cousin's son's name, although that doesn't stop some, another cousin of mine who is due shortly with a boy is naming him Ethan Robert which is my son's name

Finnian (prefer this to Fintan) - I don't like Finnian or Finnegan, I do prefer Fintan

Prestan - I like Preston so that wouldn't work

Rowan - I'm actually contemplating this name as a mn for a girl, it's too rhymey with Logan

Keegan - my nephew's name is Keagan and I think the 'key' sound is whiney

Thanks.

Sebastian - I've thought of this one several times but there's something about it I don't like, plus it
