It Will End In 'an'

I was starting to think that we could do a name that contained 'an' and not necessarily have to be at the ending.

Killian - rather not have another c/k name and any name that contains 'kill' in it is a no-go

Orian - reminds me of Oreo, nms

Riordan - I would consider this if it was pronounced as 'ree-or-din' but apparently it's 'reer-din', so no

Thanks.

I think the name Roman is a great name with your other names.

The Stefan I went to high school with was stef-en, but it's probably a regional thing. He was from a German family, though, and it's a German name. I also went to high school with a Simmon, but Simman looks funny, so if you were willing to sound rather than spelling, I could see it for you. And Pieran (patron saint of Cornwall!) wouldn't work for you with the -ier sound (though I don't hear the whine...Penn was nearly Keir.)

I don't think Roman would be odd on a Caucasian...Italians are considered caucasoid, and you do see Roman crop up on white boys in the US (Debra Messing, of "Will and Grace," has a Roman.) Don't see why it would be a problem.

Has anyone mentioned Nolan yet? Dorian? Rowan?

I think there are about 62 different ways to spell Perrin--including Pieran. It's actually a variant on Peter.

And this one might be too out there for you, but I've always thought Freeman was rather appealing.

But isn't Pieran 'peer-in' and Perrin 'pear-in'?
