New to the boards. Expecting our first child EDD 2/25. It has been a LONG struggle. We are looking for a good strong name/middle name for our soon to be son. We are looking for something that means god's gift hope etc., but are definitely open to suggestions. So far we like Daniel James, Zachary, Connor. Thanks!

The name we have picked out is Kaleb, and it means Courage. I like it. You wouldn't like the middle name though - DH's grandfather was named after a general - Ralph Pershing - so he wants to name our son (if it's a boy) Kaleb Pershing Myers. After a while, it grows on you and it's actually a distinguished sounding name. But I wouldn't recommend it to someone without the history! :)

I like the other names you've picked though - my favorite is Connor.

My Little Man.  His name is Kaleb Pershing - we call him KP.

One of my boys is Matthew John. It's an awesome, strong boy name IMO.

Matthew = gift of God
John = God is gracious (or something like that)

I definitely like Connor, in fact I wanted to name(if I have a boy) him Connor, but my fiance likes Chance better. Just a thought Connor William sounds really nice and strong. It is also something he will grow from as a young boy to a young adult and so forth.
