It's a boy...now we are stuck!

We had a girl's name all figured, but the ultrasound showed some extra parts and now we have to start from scratch. What do you think of the names we have so far? The first list is of names that I like and am still trying to convince my DH to like. The second is a list of names that we both like. Please be honest. His brother's name is Rhett and his middle name will be either Everett Taylor or Scout Taylor after a deceased student of mine. Last name is Ellis.
Names I like (but DH doesn't):
Theoren (pronounced like Aaron)
Angus
Silas
Finn
Deacon
Declan
Thatcher
Fletcher
Felix
Leo
Heath
Thane
Thayer
Names we both like:
Doyle
Garen
Seamus
Everett
Hewitt
Tarquin
Any suggestions are very welcomed!!
Thanks,
Dayna

Hi, I love your style of names, we are the same way. My DH name is Heath.
Heath Scout
Heath Everett
i really like the sound of Garen. Perhaps maybe a Garen Scout or Garen Everett, would be a good ring to the family. Rhett and Garen, I relly like that, if ya don't use that, let me know, i am really starting to like the ring of that.

My thoughts:
Theoren (pronounced like Aaron) - I like this name but spelt Theron
Angus - dislike
Silas - dislike
Finn - it's ok
Deacon - it's ok
Declan - I like this one
Thatcher - I like this one
Fletcher - alright but reminds of a dog's name
Felix - dislike
Leo - dislike
Heath - it's ok
Thane - dislike but I like Zane and Dane
Thayer - dislike
Doyle - it's ok
Garen - love it, I have it picked out if we have a boy but spelled Garran
Seamus - dislike
Everett - dislike
Hewitt - I like this one
Tarquin - dislike, reminds me of a cartoon, Darkwyn Duck
Terra.
Mommy to Ethan Robert and Logan Ryley
I really like Everett Taylor as opposed to Scout Taylor. I love To Kill a Mockingbird (as evidenced by my planning to use Harper for a decade only to have it suddenly become trendy) but I like Scout as a nickname, not a given name. And Everett Taylor just flows really well, I think. You could use Scout as a nn for any name, if you are so inclined.
I'll comment on all your names (there are lots that I like!) but I will say that if there are any that your husband strongly dislikes, I'd scratch them from the list and just work on finding something you
Well for what it's worth, here are my thoughts on your list. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Names I like (but DH doesn't):
Theoren (pronounced like Aaron) -- I like this, but agree with the previous poster on the spelling Theron.
Angus -- A type of cow
Silas -- okay, but I have reservations about the sound of Silas Ellis.
Finn -- I like this one!
Deacon -- Cute!
Declan -- This name seems to be popular on here, but I have not heard it pronounced in the real world. Every time I see it I read De-clan, which to me sounds like the clan and I think it is horrible.
Thatcher -- Cute!
Fletcher -- Cute!
Felix -- Okay for a child, but not sure about how it would transfer into adulthood.
Leo -- I like this one!
Heath -- I like this one.
Thane -- Ok
Thayer -- Ok
Names we both like:
Doyle -- Not a fan, not sure why.
Garen -- Cute
Seamus -- I would be afraid he would get made fun of when they begin the puberty discussions.
Everett -- Cute!
Hewitt -- Makes me think of Jackson Hewitt tax service.
Tarquin -- Not a fan.
Wow, I love Rhett... so handsome!
Names I like (but DH doesn't):
Theoren- this is nice. I have never heard it before but I like it.
Angus- Doesn't sound good with Rhett at all
Silas- This is okay
Finn- Getting popular, although I still think its cute
Deacon- Love this, has the same strength that Rhett does
Declan- eh, okay. Prefer Deacon
Thatcher- Nice
Fletcher- Okay
Felix- Reminds me of Felix the Cat
Leo- cute, like this a lot
Heath- LOVE this one, sounds wonderful with Rhett
Thane- OO, love this one too... This is my fave for sure!
Thayer- okayer
Names we both like:
Doyle- My least favourite of all your names, sounds very feminine and made up to me
Garen- Average
Seamus- Like this
Everett- Very handsome. Like this a lot
Hewitt- Okay
Tarquin- Okay, have you considered Tariq?
In conclusion, I really love Thane, Heath, Everett, Deacon, and Leo for you. Here are some other options:
Rhett and Anders (nn for Alexander maybe?)
Rhett and Warrick
Rhett and Adam
Rhett and Leander
Rhett and Riordan
Rhett and Oscar
Rhett and Tiernan
I like a lot of your names, but I think that you can eliminate two of my favorites right off the bat. Seamus Ellis and Silas Ellis are both so S heavy they sound really lispy.
From your two lists I really like:
Angus (although Angus Ellis is again tricky)
Finn
Declan
Fletcher
Leo
Heath
Everett (might be too similar to brother Rhett though)
Hewitt
Some other names you might like
Miles
Ewan
Hugh
Theodore (nn Theo??)
Lachlan
Good luck!
Thanks for the opinions and suggestions. You helped us narrow down a bit more. Some of the suggestions given were actually names that I had on my original list but that DH hated so badly that I didn't even bother to include them. For example, Oscar was one of my tops, but DH kept saying "the Grouch" after I mentioned it.
