Kailyn is nice, but I'm not crazy about Joelle. I prefer Jolie, Julia, Jillian, Jane, Jean, or Josie.
Also, I have a thing against the letter y in names, except at the end. So I prefer Alissa to Alyssa, Lauren to Lauryn, etc. I would probably spell it Kailin or go with Kaitlin/Caitlin/Katelin. But that's just my weird thing.
btw, I've always loved having the initials KJ - they're my fave. My family calls me this sometimes.
It would be okay, but I think there are too many "L"s in the name...Also, Kailyn seems made up for me, but it does go with the "-lyn" naming trend, so my brain is responding more to seeing selections like this as recognizing them as bona fide names.... it's okay, but wouldn't be a first choice for me personally.
We almost named our Cadence- Caelyn/Cailyn instead, but Bill's cousin has been wanting to use that name for the past 4 years...and she keeps having boys (well, only 2 so far) but I wouldn't have felt right taking the name since she mentioned it first. I have a "thing" for C names, but I do like your spelling of Kailyn as well. Kailyn Joelle is a very lovely name.

:)
I think Kailyn is very cute. I like that spelling, nothing unnecessary.
good luck.
Kailyn sounds so much like Kaitlyn, and while it's very pretty as well, it is very popular. Joelle stands out to me, and has that french flair.
It looks cute together and flows go with it.
