What do you think of the name Kaya (first name) Carr (last name) for a girl? Kaya is Native American and means "wise child"

I don't think it works well with your ln, to be honest. Some people seem to like alliterative names for their children, but having grown up Kelli K______ myself, I definitely don't. It was so annoying, to the point that I couldn't wait to change my ln when my dh and I were married.

Also, I'd probably avoid anything so short (especially ending in "a") with the ln Carr. It almost makes the entire name sound like a phrase.

While I like the name and the meaning, I think there are better choices with your last name. At the same time, it's not horrible. It's more important to choose a name you love!

Love the name Kaya, but not totally sure it flows well with your last name. One thing that might help things go together would be having her go by a first and middle name, like Kaya Lynne or Kaya Grace (Sorry can't come up with lots of good ones right now), to have something extra between her first and last names. Maybe not for you, but thought I'd throw it out there. HTH

Saying Kaya Carr out loud together doesn't sound good to me. I like the name, just don't think it goes well w/ your last name.

I only know one Kaya and it is a 9 year old boy. I really like the name, and the first time I saw it I thought it was going to be a girl.
