I saw this name in an American Girl book and can't find any information on it anywhere. Does anyone know what it means?

Thanks.

HI Lisa - I can't seem to find Laudan . I have found Lowden & Landan.

Here are those meanings:

Landon - Its source is lang dun, an Old English phrase meaning "Long hill." Alternate spellings of the name Landon include: Landan, Landin.

Not widely used The name Landon ranked 156th in popularity for males of all ages in a sample of 2000-2003 Social Security Administration statistics and 749th in popularity for males of all ages in a sample of the 1990 US Census.

Hi, Lisa. I couldn't find the meaning of Laudan, but I did find that it was a form of Louden, which was originally a surname meaning wolf valley. HTH! :)
