Here are the newest local arrivals from the past month or so. ;)
Avery Jane
Carmine Gregory

Elijah W. reminds me of Harry S. Truman - the "S" did not stand for any name but was a compromise between the names of his grandfathers, Anderson Shipp Truman and Solomon Young.
Brooke
(happy?)
Carmine Gregory ~ love Gregory...Carmine not so much.
Catalina Dulce Ana-Marie ~ Wow, that's pretty.
Justin Sukjai ~ Good luck pronouncing that one. At least they went w/ the normal, everyday Justin.
Kaira Rayne ~ It's nice, but...take out the I or change the A to an E, that's my opinion.
Lilly Grace ~ pretty; simple.
Austin Todd ~ eh, NMS.
Michael Truman ~ Pretty good.
Jaden Tyler ~ Ah, Jaden? That's so original, and new...NOT!
Elijah W. ~ NMS.
Anelisa Sophia ~ Yep, yep, I like this one :)
Domenic Armondo ~ Surprisingly, I like this spelling of the FN. Both names are OK on their own, but not so much together.
ETA: I certainly don't want to offend anyone :-D

I haven't been on this site for quite some time...and now I remember why.
The whole "It's a boy's name" ranting. I find this offensive and often inaccurate.
Avery is not a boy's name. It is a unisex name, which seems to be increasing in popularity for girls.
In 2005, the name Avery was given to 4,585 girls and only 1,641 boys.
Would you also argue that Kimberly, Vivian, Jocelyn, Hilary, Lindsay, Kelly, Ashley, Evelyn, Leslie and Beverly are still boys names? They were at one time.
And yes, my daughter's name is Avery.
Please think about how you would feel if someone posted an unnecessarily rude comment about your child's name.
I would just ignore anyone who didn't like my baby's name. (and a lot of people do, but what can you do)

I read your comment before you edited. Actually, you called your comment a rant, which is why I referred to it as a rant:
You wrote:
"Avery Jane ~ ugggggh! Avery is a BOY's name!! (LOL, personal little rant there)"
Apparently, you find a simple apology is not necessary here.
If you don't like a name, why not just say it's not your style? It's a much kinder and classier approach.
