I am not a fan of Lola personally, also it is a really big celebrity child name. I know of atleast three celeb. that have a child/baby named Lola. If that isn't an issue for you, then my personal opinion is just ok for me. Sorry

I'm so sorry, but it just reminds me of Barry Manilow's song "Copacabana"

"Her name was Lola. She was a showgirl . . . at the Copa, Copacabana...music and dancing are always in fashion...at the copa. . . "

Between Copacabana and the famous novel Lolita, I have a hard time picturing Lola on a sweet little girl. I do think it's pretty, but it's also inextricably tied to seductive temptresses. And, as another poster pointed out, it's very hot with celebrities right now, which screams "trendy" to me. Sorry.

Thats my first thought every time I hear Lola.

I'm sorry to say that I really don't care for it. I also think of Barry Manilow when I hear it. Sounds rather old too me. Sorry.

This is a name that has never grown on me. I'm not sure why though.

It gets thumbs down from me. Sorry. I just think of it as a celebrity trend. I also don't imagine it will age well. I can't picture a Lola in the business world.

I think it's cute, although I prefer it as a nickname. There is the trendiness issue, but if this isn't a concern, then I say go for it.
