Looking for ideas on baby #4 name
| Mon, 07-23-2007 - 8:04pm |
Wow! it's been almost 5 years since I had help from this message board, and now I've been back lingering and checking out everyone's posts. I'm very excited to be expecting my 4th child. I'm only 15 weeks, but I'm trying to think of new names. I am completely stumped and would like any ideas.....
My DD, 8yrs - Ashlynn MaKenna
My DS, 6 1/2yrs - Hunter Reese (family name)
My DS, 4 1/2yrs - Kellan Troy
Last name is Van-Treese
Kinda liked:
girls: Georgia or Jorgia
Evan or Evyn
Zanthie - (another family name, I know it's very different though)
Boys: Weston, Rhett, Oliver, Cole - pretty stumped here - (I seem to be the only one liking these names in my house!)
Thanks - Kimberly

Welcome back - naming the 4th one is hard.. We are still working on it.
From the girls - I like Georgia followed by Zanthie( b/c of the family connection) Evan - I wouldn't use for a girl
From the boys: I like Oliver & Cole for the sibset..
Possible other options:
Girls:
Ashlynn, Hunter, Kellan &... Geneva nn Evie or even Evan
Ashlynn, Hunter, Kellan & Colby ( for a boy or girl)

Thanks for the reply! I do kinda like Colby for either boy or girl....I'm going to be thinking about that now. Could always nn Cole. And I think Georgia will be one of our choices. I was thinking maybe
Georgia Kate or Georgia Grace. (everyone says Grace is way too popular)
I like Chandler, Nolan, and Cameron, however - all are in my family with either nieces or nephews. I'll take any suggestions if you think of any.
Thanks!
Let's see..
Siblings: Ashlynn, Hunter, Kellan & ...
Maybe another name that ends in "er"...

Ryder Davis
Tanner Cole
Tucker Gregory - ( not sure if I like this w/ Hunter)

I love Weston Cole or Oliver Rhett. I'm not sure which of your girl names I like the best, they don't seem to match in style to your DD's name now. I wouldn't go with Evan, just b/c I don't care for the unisex names. I like Georgia the best of them, but I think Zanthie would be a good middle name.

Wow - so many good suggestions. I am from west suburb of Chicago, Plainfield. Are you from Chicago also?
A few names I've never heard of, but I like - Rylan, very neat name. Ryder Davis sounds pretty good too - different. Which is what I'm looking for! LOL! I've always loved the name Teague or Teagan, the only problem is there is a 3 year old 3 houses away with the name Teagan. Do you think that should matter?
I also think Everett is growing on me, b/c I'm sure I'd nn him Rhett, which is close to my DB's name, Brett.
Does anyone really like the name Oliver? I kinda think I do, or is it just cute for a little one, and not for an older boy? I like Aspen alot, but it's my DS sister's dog's name! LOL!
So far I love everyone's ideas, you're really helping me out here! Thanks!
I am from the Westmont/Darien area...
Ryder would be cool...as would Rylan
and love Everett (neither are popular around here either)
As for Oliver - I really can't picture a man with the name - a friend of mine just named her son that - and they are calling him Ollie, which seems a bit feminine. I feel like it is becoming a little on the popular side right now (probably because of the popularity of Olivia)
As for Aspen - I see a child getting a lot of a$$ comments later in life "how has your a$$ been?
As for Teague - I really don't think it matters if a neighbor kid has the same name - the kid will be 4 years older than him (does your older son play with him a lot?)
Good Luck! and let me know if you need any other ideas..
Jaime
I have an Oliver who is 5, and no one has had a problem with the name.
