Looking for a middle name!

We are having a boy in August and have decided the boy will be named either

Spencer

or

Brett Jacob

We are having loads of trouble finding a middle name we like for Spencer, and we are leaning more towards Spencer as the name and not Brett.
I suggested Eugene, becuase it flows nice and it is also my husband's granfather's middle name. But my husband says it is old fashion. I just can't seem to put any other names with Spencer. I have tried but none seem to sound right. If anyone has any suggestions I would be most greatful!

Thanks!

I think Spencer Eugene sounds fine. You could also use Spencer Gene.

Spencer Jacob also has a nice flow. I like it and Brett Jacob equally. You have great options.

More ideas:

Spencer Miles
Spencer Reed
Spencer Blaine
Spencer Garrett
Spencer Thomas
Spencer John
Spencer Travis
Spencer Nolan

What is wrong with Spencer Jacob? That flows just fine.

I do prefer the idea of Spencer Euguene though. Who cares if it is old fashioned? It is a family name and has significance to you and that is what is important. Your son will appreciate that when he is older, rather than just a mn that sounds nice.
