Hi! Can you guys help me pick out an "M" name for a boy? My ds is named Mason and I would like to keep the m's! My dh shot down Morgan said it was a girls name and Miles, so anyone? Oddly we aren't keeping the same criteria for a girls name we are going with Piper which noone like but, oh well! My sis did say that was a very popular name but, I don't know anyone with that name, do you guys agree with her? Thanks!

Well, we adopted a Mason and then we added Mathew (yes, spelled with one T) - they were 7 and 5 when we got them. If we adopt a baby boy, I would probably go with Marc or Mead or Max.

Well, my favorite M name is Miles, and since that has already been shot down here are some others:

Micah
Matteo
Marcus
Malcolm
Mitchell

BTW, I think Piper is adorable and it is not popular at all around here.

I would strongly recommend NOT sticking with the M names thing. It's a little too cutesy. It would work much better to pick a name that complements Mason in terms of tone and style than to blindly make it an M name. Ideas:

Fisher
Connor
Hunter
Cole
Tanner
or if you must do the M thing, Marshall

I think Piper is a trendy name, but not necessarily popular. I have never met anyone named Piper either. For a boy M name, how about Maverick, Mitchell, Matthew, or Michael?

I see you already have several good suggestions, but I wanted to add my list, too. :) I apologize for any repeats.

Mercer
Manning
Marcus
Mitchell

By the way, I also think it would be neat to keep the "son" ending if you can't come up with an "m" name. Example: Carson, Anderson, Dawson, Garrison and Harrison.

Also I love Piper by the way. I have seen in listed as being a popular baby name, but I haven't heard it used.

Good Luck!
