Maddox for a first name?

My husband really likes the name Maddox, personally it will have to grow on
me in order for it to be a possibility. That's where you can help, please
give me your opinions on the name, and if you know anyone else with the name
besides Angelina Jolie's son.
It sounds a little harsh for a first name to me, but maybe I can be swayed.
If you don't like it, let me know too.
Plus if you can think of any middle names that go with it.
I like Ryan and Noah...but to me maddox doesn't really sound good with anything.
Our last name is Powell, and we have one daughter, Kya Monet who's 2 1/2.
Thanks!

Sorry, but I don't care for it...it's a little to Angelina Jolie for me. It does sound a little harsh, too. I'd prefer Ryan or Noah as a first name. Or if you're liking "M" names, try Marcus.

In all honesty, all I can think of with the name Maddox is Angelina Jolie, especially since she is so in the news RIGHT NOW, But I'm sure the spotlight will cool off her. Maddox is cool name, a bit strong for my taste, but not bad either. I have a neighbor who named their son Chandler 4 years ago and I thought I would never be able to get over the Friends association, but all things do pass..
