My good friends just named their daughter Maisie. I must admit that I don't really care for it. Not sure why.

i think that name is great :) i dont think it sounds too old ladyish. Its soo cute and so different from what everyone is picking these days.

I dont think it is too old fashioned. But, I think it is too cutesy and wont grow up with a girl.

Maisie (same spelling and all) is my cat's name. Your child will also be teased for having the same name as the ballerina mouse.

Other than that, it's okay.

I love that name. I actually considered that for my daughter. It might not be an adult name though. Maybe you could give her a middle name that could be used if needed.
