Okay, I wanted to see if some of you could put together some sib sets from my list of names that DH and I have agreed to consider (we won't TTC for about a year). Any positive comments or suggestions are also welcome! I am Elizabeth (nn Liz) and DH is David. Our last name is Waters.
For Girls:
Gwyneth
Tessa (family name after my mom Teresa)
Bridget
Aubrey
Leila/Layla (I prefer orig. sp, DH prefers w/ the Y)
Genevieve
Leanne (Lee is family name of DH)
Laurel
Cora (similar to my maiden name)
Georgia
For Boys:
Joseph David (DH's father- he basically insists on naming one son after his dad, Joe David- I don't love Joseph, but I can live with it if I must)
Samuel
William Henry (mn is family name- Would William be OK w/ last name beginning w/ W?)
Matthew (very common, but I like it b/c my parents wanted to name us Matthew if any of my sisters or I had been boys)
Saul
Gareth (my fave!)
Beckett (another of my faves- somewhat after my sister Rebecca, who goes by Bec or Becca)
Brant
Winston (we are historians and love the connection)
What do you think sounds good as siblings? Middle names that we like b/c of family reasons are: Elizabeth, Ashley, June, Christine, Edward, and Henry.
TIA!
Liz

First, I really like your list.
Joseph, William, Samuel, and Matthew all work very well as brothers. They are solid classic names (if not common). My favourite name of the bunch is Samuel Henry. I think that is very strong. I wouldn't go with Joseph David even if your husband insists, unless you love it. Try to convince him to use Joseph instead as a mn. William Joseph, Samuel Joseph, and Matthew Joseph are all nice. A typical sister to any of these names would be Elizabeth, Alexandra, Samantha, or something else very classic along those lines. From your list, Tessa, Cora, and Laurel all have a classic feel, and although they aren't common like the boys names, they are classic so they go nicely.
I find Beckett and Gareth go WONDERFULLY as brothers. I would pair a more classic mn for each of them. Beckett Henry and Gareth Joseph sound nice. They both a spunky, strong edge to them. I could see Saul fitting in there as well. Stylistically, Aubrey, Gwyneth, and Georgia go nicely, but I would avoid another G- name with brother Gareth so the last 2 would be out.
Winston is a great name and I like it alot, but it has a different feel from the other boy names so I don't see it fitting in that well. I could see names like Dexter, Dashiell, Jonah, and Montgomery being a brother to Winston. As for girls, Laurel goes wonderfully.
I love Laurel and Tessa as sisters. I love Beckett and Gareth as brothers.

Here are a few:
Laurel June, Gwyneth Eliza and Henry David
Genevieve Bethan, Leila Therese, Winston Edward and Gareth Christian
Georgia Bette, Tessa Josephine and Beckett Winston
Bridget Elizabeth, William Henry and Gareth David
I wasn't sure if you were ok with variations of some of the family names, but since you do have Tessa for Teresa I used some anyway. Eliza, Bethan and Bette for Elizabeth, Therese for Teresa, Christian for Christine and Josephine for Joseph. ;)
FWIW, the names that begin with W or end in an R sound (like Cora) are a bit difficult to say with your ln, although I love many of them. Just something to keep in mind.
