Hello. I am looking for a pretty extensive list of "Mc" and "Mac" names for either sex... like MacKenzie and McKay. I would REALLY appreciate help! Thank you so much!

It seems like you might be able to add Mc or Mac to the beginning of almost any name and create a new one (although I know folks on this board frown on made up names - but doesn't 'Mac' mean 'son of'?):

McAdam
MacEllen
MacElla
MacLynn (Maclain?)
MacEdward

What is your dh's name? Since Mc- means "son of," it only makes sense to start there. ;) You might also add Mc- to another loved one's name (because obviously most "Micks" nowadays are actually quite a few generations removed from the original LOL). I love when people use Mc- names with meaning, rather than just random ones (although there are a few I like a lot ... luckily I AM a "Mick," so our ln definitely prohibits me from using one for a fn LOL).

Boys:
Macaulay
McLean
McCrea
MacArthur
Cormick/Cormack (my ln is McCormick, so technically I'm a double-Mc ... this is obviously a stand-alone name, however, and you could still use the nn Mick/Mack if that's what you're going for)
Madoc
Marrac
*These last two obviously aren't Mc- names, but they have a similar sound with the "trendiness" of, say, Mackenzie or McKenna, KWIM?

Girls:
Michaela (not a Mc- name, despite what some may think, but it "sounds" like one LOL)
