A few that come to mind:
Victoria (nn Tori or Vicki)
Olivia (nn Liv or Livie)

Madelien (nn Maddy)

I think Kate and Evie or Kate and Livie would be nice. Isabel and Katherine also make a GREAT sib set.

Good luck.

Wow...you sound as though you are battling the same dilema my husband and I are dealing with now. We have a daughter who turned 2 in August and we are due with our 2nd in 7 weeks. We don't know the sex of the baby...so of course we are trying to come up with boys and girls names. Boys names we are set on since we had a girl the first time around. But the second time around...trying to come up with a girls name we like seems to be impossible. With only 7 weeks to go, we still can't seem to both come up with a name that we love. We like Megan, but don't LOVE it. Our last name is Smith, so we'd like to pick something that has a bit of character...if you know what I mean. Are you looking for something a bit more tradtional?

I'm ont sure if you have ever been to the Social Security web site? Believe it or not...it's a great place to look up names. Take a look...this might help you...

Hi there, Amanda. Katherine Anne is a lovely name, & she is just picture perfect to match it. :) I love Elisabeth from your short list; too bad that you can't use it. Oh yes, & I love William David too. My oldest ds is William, & he is called 'Billy' 98% of the time. I do also have just Liam on my favourite list too though. Such nice taste you have! I will try my best to suggest a few girl names that work w/Katherine & perhaps do not end in an 'ly' due to your last name. Here we go...

Anna

Annnabel

Amelia

Ava

Beatrice

Celia

Cecelia

Emmeline

Fiona

Gabriella

Gemma

Hannah

Harriet

Hope

Isabel

Julia

Juliet

Josephine

Johanna

Julianna

Juliana

Lousia

Lydia

Laura

Maura

Nora

Olivia

Rose

I hope this helps!

unfortuantly i dont have a name to add, although i thought some of the ones offered were beautiful. i just think its so strange that Elizabeth, Kathryn and Margaret are grouped together always :) lol i love the names, trust me. I'm Elizabeth, my 18 year old sister is Kathryn (middle name Anne) , and my little sister is Margaret. I don't know if its the Meg nn of Margaret that's holding you guys back, but she's gone by Margaret her entire life, only now letting my sister shorten it to "M" (some James bond thing) good luck tho!

Someone mentioned Laura, which I am a little partial to! ;o) It is a nice traditional timeless name like Katherine. As is Sarah... A couple others on my mind are Felicity, and I saw a lady on tv whose name was Ayelet...I thought that was interesting. Very Irish!

Good Luck!!
