Yes, I know that Kennadi is "always" a girl's name but you really never know these days, lol. My dh and I love the name Kennadi but we cannot think of a middle name. Any ideas? Thank you so much!

Oh for heaven's sake. Spell it Kennedy already! Sorry but it's the same name, and if you spell it like that people are going to think she is lower class her entire life.

It is a proven fact that a job applicant named Christopher, with the exact same qualifications as another applicant named Khriztofur, will get the job instead.

Well, I like the way you spelled Kennadi. It makes the name unique, and I don't think it's weird or anything like that. And I certainly don't think that anyone makes judges about whether people are "lower class" or "higher class" just because of the spelling of their name.

Quite frankly, that is such an utterly RIDICULOUS thought.

People do make judgements based on names.. the name itself, it's spelling and even it's pronunciation. Sad to say, but it's true. The same sort of judgements are made about how people look too. The name thing is just a bit more subtle.

The poster who said that between two job applicants, one named Christopher and one named Khriztofur, the one named Christopher is way more likely to get the job, has been shown by several different studies that I'm sure you could google by looking for "Name prejudices in Job hiring" or something similar.

On the other hand.. Kennadi is at least phonetic and just looks cutsey trendy and not outrageously trendified. I agree that Kennedy woudl be better for her, she'd not have to spell it often.. whereas with Kennadi she'd have to. But if the thought of her saying for the sixty millionth time (at 33) is "Kennadi.. like the president but with ADI at the end" doesn't bother you.. Kennadi is at least phonetic.

Well, since the original poster was only asking for middle name suggestions and not commentary on her choice of spelling, I am not sure that rhodapenmark's expression of criticism on the spelling thing was appropriate at all. True or not, it could have been said nicer, i.e. I prefer the spelling Kennedy. Although I do love the movie "The Bad Seed" -- and I am assuming that's what rhodapenmark's username is from!

Anyway, since no one has really given suggestions on middle names for Kennadi, I will go ahead and suggest:

Kennadi Brooke

Kennadi Brynn

Kennadi Claire

Kennadi Danielle

Kennadi Deirdre

Kennadi Erin

Kennadi Gail

Kennadi Jasmine

Kennadi Jill

Kennadi Joy

Kennadi Lauren

Kennadi Louise

Kennadi Marin

Kennadi Maureen

Kennadi Megan

Kennadi Michelle

Kennadi Nicole

Kennadi Noelle

Kennadi Rose (not sure if you already have an Alexa Rose, given the username)

Kennadi Shannon

Kennadi Suzanne

Kennadi Taryn

Kennadi Tess

I like Kennadi with one or two syllable mns that don't end in "ee." Hope this helps. Good luck!

No offense, but for your child's sake, spell it correctly!!!! Please. Even though she didn't pick how her name would be spelled, it will reflect poorly on her. Right or wrong, she'll be looked down on. JMO

Sorry, I never gave any m.n. suggestions, and I do apologize if I offend you by giving my unsolicited opinion. Just that odd spelings seem to be getting out of hand. That said, how about these m.names,

Grace

Good luck.

Well, Kennedy or Kennadi are not my style, a bit trendy for my tastes, and I actually would pronouce them slightly differently. I would pronouce Kennedy: KEN-ah-dee (emphasis on the first syllable). I would pronouce Kennadi: ken-NAD-ee (emphasis on the second syllable). The second is not nearly as pleasant as the first. And, as well, IMHO I agree that names spelled in odd ways are generally a sign of lower-class status. NOT that that is always the case, but it's a stereotype for a reason.

It's just hard to pronouce. If you really want something different, why not just use a name that is hardly ever ever used anymore? Or something totally unique, like a word name?

Anyway, sorry. That's not what you asked for. I prefer a one syllable MN with Kennadi.

MN:

Kennadi Bell

Kennadi Lark

Kennadi Jane

Kennadi Lake

Kennadi May

Kennadi Rose

Or something along those lines.

Good luck choosing. Kennadi or not, she'll be perfect!

Best,

Amy
