Hi Eliza -

Your fn are great..., but I think Barbrendara is very long with the fn & your ln.

I love the idea of naming your kids after their grandparents.

Hmmmm... BARBRENDARA - I would not use this it looks made up and I can not even pronouance it ... sorry just being honest.
If you are thinking about combining the names (which is a good idea & makes everyone happy) what about Brenna? OR can you use the parents mn's instead of their first names? OR one of each? Maybe if you post a poll with both mothers first and mn asking for suggestions on a name combination that would work - thats would I would do.

For your daughters first name I like Evangeline & Elizabeth (Elizabeth a little more thought)
What about Emmeline?

Out of your boy names I like Grayson & Carson (Grayson a little more)

I would also do a poll with each of the fathers first and mn's to get any suggestions.

You can also name one of the boys after the mothers and/or one of the girls after the grandfathers. My name came from my grandfather and one of his brothers & I am so lucky to be named after my g'pa becuase he is so great!

Terrah (prn Tara) for a girl mn after Arthur & Terry
Barden OR Barren for a boy mn after Brenda & Barbara

You can even write out the first and/or mn and make your own name out of the letters from the name - It would be a fun way to create a name out of the parents and can be a tradition for each child from different family member and a cool story to tell your children later (if you decide to do this, I would save all of the names that you came up with and put it in a baby book to laugh at later.

Hope any of this was helpful.

One thought that we did have too, was using my Mom's maiden name as a middle name for either boy or girl.

I think I like Evangeline May-Lynne the best, but why not lose the hyphen? Good luck...

Why not scrap that Idea totally and give all the children your names as middle name?

Since we're tossing around ideas, one other that occurred to me:

Brenda + Barbara = Dara (my baby sister's name LOL) was my thought as well. MUCH better than Barbrendara as a mn. That one just leaves one wondering "what the heck is that?!" ;) Since the names are so similar, I'd either go with an unrelated B____a name to honor them both or use something from the endings, like Dara.
