This is my forth child and my husband is adamant about giving this child his first name, Kenneth.

what about Kevin or Keith? they are both kind of similar to Kenneth.
Kevin Heath? do you like your husbands middle name? What about having his middle name for the child's first name and his first name as the child's middle name... so _____ Kenneth? or how about Kent?
as for middle names:
Kenneth Shane
Kenneth Xavier
Kenneth Jeremy
Kenneth Levi
Kenneth Grant
Kenneth Brady

that name is very outdated - it's not a traditional classic - it's dated to about the 40s-60s - you can't be forced to give in to him on this - it's your baby too, you have to come to an agreement
tell him you're willing to use Kenneth as a middle name
I had the same problem with DS#1. DH wanted to give him Kenneth as a FN but not as a junior. (even more confusing than a jr. IMO). We did use it as a MN because it has great family history for us (my dad, DH, DH's uncle, DH's grandfather). I like it as MN for:
Logan Kenneth ;) this is DS#1
Aaron Kenneth ;) DS#3's FN sounds good too
Landon Kenneth
Andrew Kenneth
Owen Kenneth
Nathan Kenneth
Gavin Kenneth
Mason Kenneth
MN for Kenneth:
Kenneth Samuel
Kenneth Allen
Kenneth John
(these 3 are our family's names, but I like them) Also:
Kenneth James
Kenneth Andrew
Kenneth Charles
Other K names:
Kenyon
Kenton
Kenan
Keenan
Keegan
Korbin
DS#2, Kaden, kind of stands for DH's initials (K.A.) with a little tribute to my uncle Dennis too. Maybe you could use initials to inspire a new name??
HTH! Good luck convincing DH, too.

use the same initial as his fathers middle name, that way it is still named *for* dad, just is not a JR.
My Husband was the same way at the beginning. The only option in his mind was Alexander Junior or Alexander III... He even suggested Alexander Theodore!... Oh my... I kept introducing him other ideas and guess what really helped?... I 've set up a poll on this forum with all the options we mutually agreed upon and my favorite (Christian Alexander) was a top pick. After that he reconsidered!!!... Try this - perhaps it will help!
Good luck!
