Armywife0407- Stop with the rude comments! There is no need to give negative feedback on a name she has already chosen on!

I don't see anything wrong with Milo. As for the "Milo and Otis" connection, I think that movie came out a long time ago, and kids may not even watch it nowadays. But even if they do, it's certainly not a negative connotation.

The actress Liv Tyler named her son Milo, I think.

My husband lived in China for a few years before college and MeLei (pronounced May-lee) is beautiful in Chinese we really loved the name but aren't having any more children due to many complications getting the three we will have.

Thanks for all the responses.

i like milo, but i feel like it's a little too matchy with mason. miles would be better IMO, then you can call him milo.

i'm pretty sure milo was the cat in milo and otis...otis has a special place in my heart, because my cat schrödinger was at the shelter with his littermate, and they were milo and otis (he was otis), but someone took his littermate home but not him, so he was so sad when i got him. i gave him a new name though, because i was under the impression that milo was the cat and otis was the dog.

i think Milo is a great choice! I don't think of it as weird at all, and like others have said if you want something a little different you could go with Miles and use the nn Milo.
