Is Milo too wierd for a boy?

My husband and I are having are 3rd child in June and want to name him Milo, but the response from close relatives and friends has not been all positive.

This is a beautiful name for a little girl. One of my favorite girl names is a sort of combination of Milo and MeLei ... Mila, which could be pronounced either my-luh or mee-luh.
I think your name choices are very nice.

my children watch milo and otis all the time


i don't know about that name, would you want to be 40 years old and called milo?

I like Milo a lot, and I certainly wouldn't exclude it on the grounds that it is "too weird." I've been hearing a lot of it lately!
