Every day I like a new girl's name! This is going to be SUPER tough.

Today's name: Bridget.

What middle names go with it?? Family names: Jo, Mae, Hannah, but those don't sound right with it.

Any help?

soleil is very pretty! not sure how DH would feel about that though. i like danielle, but not enough for a middle name. i think it's because i've known so many danielles in my life...sometimes that can ruin a good name for you, you know?

thanks so much for your suggestions!!!

The first name that popped into my head was Bridget Elise. I think Bridget Mae would be nice too if the family significance is important to you. Others that came to mind are:

Bridget Pearl

Bridget Claire

Bridget Elaine

Bridget Felicity (although the Ts near the ends might be too much?)

Bridget Juliana

Bridget Lily

Bridget Lorraine

I really like Bridget btw. I

DH said no to me too! He said it was "too old fashioned." I don't get it. I think names like Beatrice are too old fashioned to me. Bridget just isn't overly popular, and there's a huge difference between "old fashioned" and "not that popular or trendy," you know? I just think it's such a sweet girl's name and grows up well. Maybe I can get DH to change his mind. I want to bring two girl's names to the hospital, just in case.

A friend of mine told me that she really likes Bridget Mae. I was worried that it sounded too country but now that I've said it a few times, it doesn't anymore!!

Thanks for the suggestions, by the way! I really, really love Bridget Elise (originally loved Annelise as a first name), but our last name begins with an "S" and the S's run together and it sounds like "Eleee" instead of Elise. Ugh. That is my favorite one too. ;)

I love Soleil but don't think my hubby will go for it either. I have never even mentioned it to him for fear that he'll think it's too weird or something. I so wish

Thanks!! Mae is his grandmother's middle name....thought it would make him like Bridget Mae a bit more if we used a family name of his, but it didn't. Ugh. I will still work on it though. I'm not giving up, hehehe.

Hi there, What about a name like Karina or Karin/Carin? It means affection. Good luck with everything!
