MN for Elisabeth (Ellie)

So, I love love love Elisabeth (Ellie). I know Ellie is a popular nn and Elisabeth is sortt of "plain?" (I prefer the term "classic" :) ) but I don't care. Originally, I liked Grace as a mn but that is SOOOOOOO popular. Like "Marie" or "Anne" from my generation. (I even know a Suzanne Anne).
Our last name is 3 syllables and starts with a B. So, I think a one syllable name would work best, which is why I liked Grace originally. I also think it just sounds nice together. But, in looking at announcements, talking to people, etc, I just don't know if Grace will make the cut.
Any ideas?

I like the idea of Elisabeth nn Ellie. Of course, I'm a little biased!

Thanks belle_petite for the siggy!
I like May (I am due April 27th. If I was a couple days late that would be cute)
I really like Kate (but is DH's ex fiance's name... shoot.)
I also like Gwen. My aunt/godmother's name is Gwendolyn. Is it "bad luck" to name a baby after someone still living?
I like Claire and Jane but I'm pretty sure DH wouldn't go for it... We;ll see. Thanks for the suggestions. Get's me thinking! :)
Thanks to Melinda for the cutie-p
I'm in the camp that thinks middle names should have some sort of significance, so I'd suggest looking through the family tree too.
Yes, I thought of this but here's a list of what I'm workin' with:
Ethel
Ruth
Esther
Una
Urilla
Wendy
Ada
Olive
Gail
LulaBelle
Virginia
Lourenna
yikes... not what I had in mind I guess... :) Those are mostly from my mom's side. Maybe my dad can give me some past generation names that'd work :)
Thanks to Melinda for the cutie-p
I don't think it's bad luck at all to name someone living. I do know that it's Jewish tradition to name only after those who have passed, but that's the only cultural thing I know of. Elisabeth Gwen or Elisabeth Gwendolyn would be lovely.
I also thought Elisabeth Gail or Elisabeth Ruth would be nice from your list of family names.
Thanks belle_petite for the siggy!
How about:
Elizabeth Rose
Elizabeth Gray
Elizabeth Faith
Elizabeth Hope
Elizabeth Jane
