wait, does that mean i get geek points for recognizing it? i'm having flashbacks of a thermodynamics class i had where the professor gave a "geek quiz"...he asked everyone who knew what NCC1701-D was to raise their hands. it was just me and one other kid, out of a class of 17 prospective chemical engineers. lol.
*laugh* That is pretty bad. I don't know if I would've realized what it was, out of the context of this conversation, but most of our grad school friends were in engineering...they would've been all over that. (As would my husband, the political scientist...who I made sell his Klingon-to-English dictionary after we got married.)
