Mommy & Daddy Need Help Naming Daughter

We just found out we are having a girl and we're having trouble deciding on a name. So far the names we like best are:

Alexis
Ashley
Lauren
Audrey

Out of the names listed, Alexis is what we seem to like best, but having trouble finding a middle name for it. Everytime we seem to find one, it sounds better with the names reversed making Alexis the middle name instead. Any suggestions on Girl names and/or middle names would be helpful. What female names do you like?

I wouldn't worry all that much about the flow of the first name-middle name-last name. All three are so rarely used together. Is there a family first name or last name that you can use for the middle? Something with meaning is always nice, rather than just a filler middle name.

Of the first names, without knowing the last name (that flow is very important), I rank Lauren as number 1, Audrey as number 2, Alexis and number 3 (just not as pretty somehow), and Ashley as a distant 4 because it's been so overused, and doesn't sound serious enough to me for a grown woman.

I think that Alexis Lauren is nice. I really like Audrey and Aubrey. Lauren as a first name is nice. I wouldn't go with Ashley though. Too many of those. I have a good friend who has an ALEXA. I have always really liked that name too. It is hard but you will find just the right name. Good luck!

I actually like the combination of Lauren Alexis. Good luck choosing...it's a fun, but difficult decision.

I wouldn't worry about the middle name flowing perfectly. When does a person ever tell someone what their full name is? The only time anyone ever worries what the first and middle name sound like together is when they are naming the baby, but never again. I would pick a family name or a name that has some sort of meaning. I plan on honoring family members by giving my children their names as middle names.
