I think they are both great choices. Why not take both to the hospital and see which one fits at the time.

They are both great choices. I prefer Josephine nn Josie myself- I find is very sweet and classy. I wouldn't think it to be strange at all for her to go by a nn when the others don't. Now that I think about it, most sibsets I know do that. Even my own- Nicole nn Nikki (me), Kristin, and Meghan (neither with nicknames). I babysit a family of kids named Rhea, Matthew, Joseph nn Joey, and Thomas (only Joey goes by a nn). And again, babysit a Samantha, Madison, and Danielle, with only Samantha (Sam) going by a nn. It has never even crossed my mind that it is strange! In all cases, the person with the nn goes exclusively by the nn.

Josephine Katherine gets my vote!

I like Josephine nn Josie better then Brooke, and I like that you can honor both sides of the family then!

I think Josephine Katherine is beautiful classic name, and the nm Josie makes it young and hip. I like Brooke, but prefer Josephine.

I have a daughter named April and another called Eve. They say they like their names because at school no one else shared the same name.
I hope the naming goes well
