What's in a name? If you're a mom, a lot of deliberation -- and love. Whether you enjoy traditional names for your children or have opted for something a bit more unique, we want to hear about the most unusual names you've encountered. From interesting to outrageous, what names have stuck in your mind?

Your responses may be used in an upcoming iVillage feature on baby names.

Finleigh, why do people have to just make them up? There are books full of perfectly normal choices.

At the doctor's the other day I heard them call a woman named Prairie Rose, she was probably in her mid-20s.

Whats with all these Guest names, or is that a glitch?

Ok, I went to school with a girl names Curly...poor girl.

I am also into traditional names, and names that you can tell if it is a boy or girl. Thankfully there are naming rules in Germany.

I could list plenty of strange German names, the first I can think of is my husbands cousin, she named her son Timon, yes...like Timon and Pumba.
