hi moms!

my expected due date is september 14, 2005 and i still don't have a name for my baby girl. I wanted something creative since my baby's a mix of chinese and half native american but i will be using my last name which is "tan" and there's so many tan in the Philippines. I wanted something nice but not trying hard 'cause my last name here is so common. Thanks! What do you think of "ayeisha"? asha for short? can you please please help me come up with something like this?

ex. cristina angelica tan= nick name is "crisan" which was derived from the start of the two names.. thank you so much!!! hope ill get a reply!

FYI, Amy Tan is a famous author -- she wrote "The Joy Luck Club." It is a nice name, but I wanted you to know that.

Aiesha is pretty, but I'm not sure how that would be pronounced in the Philippines or even what names are popular/unique there.

Here are some names that might sound nice:
Maya
Amelia
Liana
Arabella
Mariana
Alicia

how about Eila ( pr. eye-la) or it can be spelled Isla, like island. or Indira. I think that is how you spell it. in-dear-ah. HTH!

Ok, now this is a long first name, but since you have a short last name, it could work. I've always like the name Ashleighanna. I know - it's long, but you could hyphenate it to Ashleigh-Anna. I just love the spelling of Ashleigh. You could call her Anna, or Leah, or Ashleigh.
