HI all, Haven't posted in a while, been very busy with new house and move. We have our names narrowed down and wanted to hear your thoughts. We're planning on creating #2 soon!

They are: If he's a boy: Julian Scott (Scott is Dh's mn) we may call him Jude and if she's a girl,

Spencer-Margaret. Margaret is a family name on both sides and Dh loves Spencer. She may have a middle name too such as Greene but we may just have her have her full name of Spencer-Margaret. Let me know what you think!

I love Julian. It goes nicely with Graham.

I rather like Spencer Margaret, though it's probably not may favorite of the names you've considered. But still it is nice. And if you and your hubby agree that's wonderful! Jaclyn Smith's daugher is Spencer Margaret, I think.

I guess I how I said my post cam off wrong. I personally don't think its a name to be made fun of. I think its a nice name with alot of possibilities for cool nicknames. I just think that its not what people would TYPICALLY say is a "manly man" name and that's why people were commenting that its feminine. I dont agree. I have a Collin. That was never considered a "tough guy name and then along came Farrell and look at it now. But some people are not out for the tough guy name.

More coffeee sorry

Julian Scott is nms
However, I think Spencer Margaret is a refreshing change of pace from all the Brittanys, Avas, Madelyns etc..
Good luck to you in whatever you choose.

How odd. Spencer Margaret (as a double name) was a finalist for my daughter who was born in January 1998. I LOVE that combo. So old, yet new!

Julian once seemed feminine, old & stuffy to me. In the last year or so, it's grown on me a lot. I think it's very fitting with today's naming trends without being overly popular or trendy.

Best wishes, Ginger

Oh, thanks Ginger. I have a Graham and so I am trying to find names that go with it. Those are my final choices however. Hopefully #2 won't be too far off, but you never know! What did you choose for your girl?
