I want to thank you for your opinion, but I have a question in regards to your reply, this is about one part of what you wrote to me in regards the middle name "Nicole" If it doesn't it's quite a dated filler mn -- .....It is not a name that is very special for me nor a name that runs in my family, I just thought that goes well with either Leila or Delaney (I do see your point on the endding of Delaney and Nicole, I did not notice that before) so I think that I would now preferd the F/n to be Leila :). Hope to hear back from you and let me know what is it that you mean by saying that the name Nicole is "quite a dated filler mn"
Basically, Nicole is a name that was incredibly popular for a while, and now sounds "old" (but not old enough to be revived, like the current trend toward more old-fashioned names).
It was in or around the top ten throughout much of the 1970s and '80s, and was equally popular as a filler mn (meaning it had no special significance other than sounding ok with most other names, being two-syllabes with the accent on the second). Basically along the same lines as Lynn, Marie, Ann, Grace, etc.
In other words, if you, like most of us, grew up with dozens of girls named Nicole/Nikki, Jessica, Jennifer/Jenn(y), etc., these names would now sound "dated" on a young child. Like their parents chose their names back in 1982, KWIM?
Now I'm only saying all this to explain what I meant by the terms dated and filler, since I believe that's what you were unsure about. If you absolutely love the name -- and not just because it "goes well" -- then by all means use it. ;)
I know a big family (lots of kids, cousins, etc.) with the last name Delaney. But that doesn't mean Delaney wouldn't work as a first name. I am pretty tired of the surname trend, but for whatever reason, I still like Delaney as a first name.
Well, the other name besides Delaney Nicole, was Leila Nicole (not Laila Nicole) What do you think of the name Leila Nicole? Do you liek it, Which one you preferd Leila Nicole or Delaney Nicole . :D

If you're going to use a first name that's unisex or usually used for boys, I like combining it with a more feminine mn.
