Is this name girly at all?

Hubby and I have decided on three names that we really like. I'm due in March.
The names are:

Cassidy
Raegan
Sage

I'm wondering if Sage sounds girly to anyone? The name would be Sage Renee (our last name is 9 letters...it sounds good with it) but we have two boys already so I'm kinda wanting a girly/pretty sounding name so people won't think I have three boys! I like the name Raegan but HATE a girl with that name from college days and don't really think I can use it without the negative thoughts. Hubby's favorite is Cassidy but I think it is a little long and I'm not sure if I can picture myself saying it for the rest of my life.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

to me all of them are unisex - I've heard of boys with all three.

here are names in the "Cassidy" style that would be more girly: Aubrey, Chloe, Delaney, Felicity, Hilary, Kelsey, Mackenzie, Mallory, Natalie, Whitney, Zoe

here are some in the "Raegan" style that are more girly: Amber, Brenna, Cara, Dannah, Hailey, Janna, Kyndle, Paige, Rhiannon

here are other names which are all girl that I like: Carina, Erica, Heidi, Jocelyn, Jillian, Larissa or Larisa, Marissa, Makayla, Natasha, Sabrina, Sienna, Sierra, Samara

good luck

I didn't know that the name Reagan was in the Exorcist. I'm too wimpy to watch that movie the whole way through, I've only seen the previews that are always shown for it and I've started to watch it before then quickly changed my mind. My husband says I'll never make it through that movie! Hearing that Raegan is from that movie certainly describes the Raegan that I knew from college!!! That name is now off my list.

To me, Sage is the ONLY girly name listed! I know some have mentioned they know of male Sages but I just can't picture that on a boy ... it's all girl. I know Reagan & Cassidy are also girl names but they're not all that "girly" to me. Seems like Sage is the girliest of them all!

LOL!! Yes, Raegan is "the girl" from Exorist. I didn't know either until I saw something on tv about her around Halloween. It didn't bother me until other people said it reminded them of her and one even said she would be quite the throw-upper. :D

I really like the name Reagan! IMO. I'm not a big fan of Sage, it kinda sounds like a boys name and Cassidy would go great with your other childrens names:) Good luck!

I like Sage for a girl. Cassidy is fine, just not my style.

In my opinion, 'Raegan' looks like a misspelling of 'Reagan.' I definitely would not choose to spell it this way because people will always misspell it, and bcause it looks like you just didn't know how to spell it.

But all of you names choices are good!

In my opinion Sage sounds like an herb. And if I were to use it, it would definately be for a boy because it sounds very masculine. Sage...rage...very brutal or I picture a 210 lb football player.

I like Raegan but if you don't what about Megan?

I also like Cassidy and you can shorten it to Cass or Cassy or Sissy.

I have a 4 year old DD named Cassidy Marie, and found it interesting that there is an adult Cassidy!

BTW - I don't like the nickname Cassie either. Very seldom do I hear people calling Cassidy that (her grandma/great-grandma will on occasion, and DH sometimes, although he knows I don't care for it). I do call her Cass. Or Ms. Marie :>

and baby #2 due 2/18/06!

Sage is a guilty pleasure name of mine-I really love it for a girl. Very pretty. That said, I can see it used on a boy just fine-it's one of those ambisexual names. But nothing wrong with that and I do prefer it for a girl. Reagan is pretty-I like the sound of it. But I've always been held back by the Exorcist association. The Ronald Reagan thing isn't a big deal but it does bring that image to mind as well. Reagan is not nearly as bad as naming your daughter Kennedy in my opinion though. That just screams President to me! :) As for Cassidy, this one has really grown on me lately. I used to not care for it at all but I now think it's pretty and has spunk. I am also the odd man out-I love the nickname Cassie or Cass for it. In order I like: Sage, Cassidy, and Reagan. Good luck!!
