name to go with Sydney Rose

I am 25 weeks along, and conflicted about a name for our second daughter. With our first, Sydney Rose, it just felt right as soon as I said it. Now, I have a growing list of "I like it, BUT.." Please let me know of your opinion about these, or any suggestions you may have. I like names that have a "y" in them..
What do you think of:
Brooklyn Grace
Kayla Ann
Skylar ?
Jordyn Grace
Caitlyn Ann
Thanks,
Syd's mom

From your picks:
Brooklyn Grace - like this one - very pretty
Kayla Ann - sounds ok
Skylar ? - I'll work on a combo
Jordyn Grace - nms
Caitlyn Ann - pretty

Brooklyn Grace- This is nice, my favourite from your list.
Kayla Ann- Kayla is WAY too popular.
Skylar ?- too trendy
Jordyn Grace- I don't like this way of spelling Jordan
Caitlyn Ann- I like Caitlyn, although I don't think it goes wonderfully with Sydney
My favourite from your list is Brooklyn Grace. Personally, I like Teagan Brooke, Kaelyn Brooke, Riley Brooke, Aubrey Brooke, and Kennedy Brooke with Sydney Rose.
Kayla - kind of boring
Skylar - This would be my second choice
Jordyn - just ok
Caitlyn - NO. There are way too many Caitlyns in the world already.
Honestly, I don't really like any of the names on your list, either because they're too popular, too little-girly, or misspelled...or all of the above. Sydney is such a classic, strong, traditional name, especially since you paired it with Rose. Sydney fits a baby, a teenager, and an adult. I love this name so much...I can just picture your cute little daughter. I don't think it's fair to give a name to your second daughter that will not grow up with her as well as Sydney.
Here are my suggestions for first names (I didn't list only names with the letter "y," so I've noted where a "y" could be inserted):
Meredith
Abigail (Abygail)
Victoria
Lindsay (Lyndsey)
Julia
Charlotte
Eliza
Megan
Ellen (Ellyn)
Audrey
Anna Leigh
Caroline (Carolyne)
Natalie
Ingrid
India
Anabella
Annalise (Annelyse)
As for middle names, I take it you want to stay with something short and feminine, like Rose. Here are my suggestions:
Ruth
Blaire
Anne (I prefer it with the "e" on the end, but Ann is good, too).
Jane
Leigh
Belle
Lynn
Joy
Faith
Hope (yeah...I decided to list all of them)
Kate (or Cate or Cait, if you wanted something different)
Of these, my favorite combos are as follows:
Eliza Blaire
Carolyne Ruth
Meredith Cate
Good luck, and congratulations! Let us know what you think!
