Ok, I am new to the board but need help naming our son. We are tossing up three names possibly four and need them narrowed down. Please choose the best name with our last name Dillinger. Names: Griffin, Pierce, Ian, Jonas

I think Pierce goes with your last name.

I like Ian or Jonas the best with your last name. Good Luck. I've struggled with boy names as well.

I really like all 4 names you're considering.

Jonas would be my favorite, though I think Pierce sounds best with your last name.

I really like Pierce with your ln. To me, the repeated 'in' sounds of Griffin Dillinger are awkward to say.

I like Ian Dillinger and Pierce Dillinger best, but all of them are nice.

the flow/sound with Dillinger is about equal with all of them

Ian is my favorite of them - Griffin is OK, Pierce is OK, I'm not crazy for Jonas, but do like Jonah

good luck

I also like Ian and Pierce the best, depending on whether you like to repeat a sound in the first and last names. I actually love that, but agree that the name Pierce somehow seems to create the most dashing combination.

I like Pierce the best but I think that all of them are good choices. Griffin is my least favorite.
