I think Lailah Marie is beautiful, and I love Claire and Kiera. I think Kiera Rose would go nicely with Lailah Marie, and it sounds very pretty. I wouldn't use Rose with Claire, but you could use another family name perhaps. I also love the name Savannah; it sounds pretty with Lailah. Good luck.

Your daughter's name, Lailah reminds me of the Persian name, Laleh, which means "tulip." You said it reminded you of lilac, and if your middle name is Rose, I think it would be cute to do another floral name. Here are a few other variations on Rose:

- Rhoslyn
- Rhoswen
- Rosalind
- Rosalyn
- Rosalie
- Rosa
- Roisin (pr. ro-sheen; Celtic)

And I think Susanna means lily. I don't know if you wanted to use your own mn, though. Since your daughter's mn is after your mother and mother-in-law, you could honour your grandmothers if the second is a girl as well?

I quite like Claire, Lorelei, Madeline/Madeleine, Ciara, Adeline and Evelyn (these spellings/pronunciations), but Lorelei might be too similar to Lailah, depending on how you're pronouncing it (I first read it as a variation of Layla, but since you mentioned the lilac association I'm wondering if you say it like Lilah). If it's the latter, LIE-la and LORE-e-lie basically seem to repeat the same exact sounds ... much too similar for me.

"Aubry" is really the only of the list I dislike, but only because Aubrey is very masculine, especially next to your other dd's name (which clearly isn't). Audrey or Audra would be nicer.

You might also consider Aurora, Adelaide, Adelaine, Adelia, Adele, Adela, Eveline or Evangeline, along these same lines. ;)

Ps. I think passing on your own mn (or a form of it) is a lovely idea, and Rose works with any of these but Claire (Claire Rose runs together and the single syllables are quite abrupt) and Kiera/Ciara (KEE-ra-rose is very R-heavy and repetitive).

hello!! first off, i love your dds name-lailah is very pretty and unique...abut not overly so...and i like the name you guys decided on for a boy-gavin is one of my faves. i have a friend whos baby is matthew gavin-and the funny part is-my friend wanted to name him gavin robert...but her hubby wasnt loving that name-so they chose matthew/matty instead. one of the names that i think would sound good with lailah and is pretty and incorporates some of the names you like/want to use:
rosalind claire(the rose from your mn and the claire from your list)
or
aubrey and evelyn rose.
i really love the name rose, even though its starting to become more common as a middle name-my oldest dd is named violet rose and i have a friend thats named samantha rose. good luck!!!
