Name Jack's Brother!

We just found out that we are having boy #2. I either sulking that there are no pink dresses in my future or drawing a total blank on names. I cant find a single name that I am drawn to. We have an Irish-sounding last name. Our son's name is Jack- we liked that it was strong, athletic, simple, all american, irish (ironic, considering my last comment), and also happened to be a family name. So I need to name this next boy and I want something in that vein and something that would match a Jack. Couple names I pulled out but Im not sold on by ANY means:

-Alexander (preppy but nice, little concerned my cousin just named his son that)
-Owen (no idea where I am going with this one, have not clear with DH)
-Cole (strong, irish, but a little cold sounding I think)
-Nathan (Nate, simple, Dh not thrilled)
-Walker (Saw it in the newspaper today- told you I was sulkly)
-Drew (preppy again, not sure if its masculine enough though)
-Will (dont want william though)
-Ethan (maybe too trendy I dont know)

Like Ryan and Logan but those wont work (rhyme with other names in family and surname)

Anyone up to inspiring me?

Like Michael, but its my brothers name, Aidan, Keiran, Torin are nephews and Kevin and Conner (other basic irish names) are in use in the family. Liam got axed by my husband. Ronan is too hard with our last name of Hogan. Caleb is interesting maybe

My husband likes Ethan right now. Im ok with it but not in love. I told him it was super popular right now (as now is our son Jack's name as well) but we havent run into Ethans so he doesnt seem to care. Others still on the list (in various states):

Padraic (kind of like Patrick but without the risk of being called Pat, which I dont like. Havent discussed this one with DH)
Cole
Owen (DH not loving it at the moment but didnt demand I remove it)
Nathan (though my husband thinks of Nathan hot dogs with this he claims)
Alec

Ones I sorta liked that DH is not taking seriously:
Walker
Francis (this is a family name which I used to hate, but somehow I kind of like now- DH still in the "hate" frame of mind)
Theo (DH hates)
Carter, Calvin, Ryder, Colton, Hugh, all initially rejected by DH

Upon further review, Will, Alex and Drew have been dropped, though I like them.

I really like the name, Cole, so I vote for that. If it seems "cold" to you , how about Colby w/ the nn Cole?

I also really like (but not as much as Cole) Owen & Ethan from your list.

Others to consider:
Davis
Lee
Chase
