Here are some girls and boys name that I really like. I would like to know what you think of the names and offer any suggestions on middle names. Also, if you want to suggest name that you think I would like that's fine too.. Could any of these names be used as siblings. I also have one more question I love the name Clive but it sounds horrible with the last name if anyone could suggest names with the same feel without the "ive" sound at the end that would be great.

Hi - I like all your names, we seem to have the same taste.

What about the name Clyde? It's my husband's late grandfather's name and we are thinking about bringing it back.

Girls:
Lilla -- pretty, but seems nicknamey. I'd use it as a nn for Lilias, Lillian, etc.
Adeline -- beautiful. ;) I like the nn Ada.
Astrid -- very nice
Belle -- nmsaa. Too frilly and presumes too much. Also a very over-done nn for all the other -bel(le) names currently popular.
Lucia -- nice, but it immediately made me think of Lucilla, nn Lilla
Sylvia/Sylvie -- nice, and fits the old-fashioned trend without being trendy.
Susannah -- a fine name, but I never got into it.
Camilla -- I prefer Camille, but this is good too. You could use Calla, Milla or even Lilla as a nn. ;)
Piper -- not my style (always reminds me of a pipe cleaner or a plumber)
Reese -- too masculine for me, but fine as a nn (I know a Therese, nn Reese)
Clair -- love it
Fiona -- love it
Boys:
Jonas/Jonah -- much prefer Jonas (a friend considered Jonah and constantly got the "whale vomit" comments ... Jonas avoids that )
Porter -- fine for someone else, but the "porker" and "port-o-potty" teasing potential steers me away from it.
Solomon -- that's kind of cool. I knew a Solomon (although it was his ln ... apparently such a good name he preferred it to his fn LOL)
Tobias -- that's really nice. You may also like Thaddeus
Ronan -- ooh, Ronan is wonderful. My favorite so far.
Grayson -- nms. Too trendy, although I do like simply Gray (possibly as a nn for Graham)
August -- that's good
Emory -- love it. Emmett is also nice.
Gunnar -- too violent
Crispin -- love it! You may also like Caspian.
Piers -- I like this a lot with the PEERZ pronunciation (rather than like the word "pierce")
Simon -- also really nice. You may also like Oliver, Henry, Alister or Nolan.

Nice list, overall. ;)

~Kelli

Ps. I also like Clive. Some non-ive names with a similar feel might include Clyde, Colin, Conall, Cullan, Curran, Cael, Callum, Cian, Cillian, Carrick, Craig or Ewan.

from your list I like:

Lucia
Susannah
Camilla
Reese
Clair

Tobias
Ronan
Grayson
Emory

I think that (Lucia, Reese and Grayson), (Lucia and Susannah), (Grayson and Emory), (Tobias and Camilla) and (Clair and Emory) make great siblings!

also for middle names what about:
Lucia Clair
Susannah Clair
Susannah Reese
Camilla Susanne

for boys I like
Emory James
Grayson Michael

Fantastic list! There are so many on here that I really, really love.

Lilla -- okay. This is pretty, but I'm really sick of all the Lily/Lillian/Lila names.
Adeline -- very pretty. I love the nn Addie.
Astrid -- I like this a lot
Belle -- ugh, SO sick of the Belle names. Sorry.
Lucia -- very pretty and refreshing
Sylvia/Sylvie -- Not a personal favorite, but I like that it's unexpected.
Susannah -- LOVE this. A long-time favorite of mine. I prefer the Susanna spelling personally, but this one is lovely too.
Camilla -- Love this. I also love Camille as a middle name.
Piper -- cute but trendy. It's not as timeless or refreshing as many of your other choices.
Reese -- very trendy. I do like it as a nickname for Theresa though. On its own, I prefer it as a middle name where it sounds more like a family surname and therefore less trendy.
Clair -- love this
Fiona -- love this too

My favorite combinations:

Fiona Clair
Susannah Camille
Lucia Clair
Sylvia Camille
Camilla Reese

Boys in no order
Jonas/Jonah -- LOVE Jonas. Jonah is nice too.
Porter -- I love this in theory, but for some reason, I always think "porter=porker" which ruins it for me.
Solomon -- this is great and unusual. I like it a lot.
Tobias -- Love this
Ronan -- LOVE this. Great choice. A personal favorite.
Grayson -- I'm on the fence. This one is EXTREMELY popular and trendy in certain areas so I'm a bit sick of it personally. But I LOVE Gray/Grey, especially as a nickname.
August -- love this!
Emory -- since I live in Atlanta (home to Emory University) this seems like an odd name choice to me. I've also known quite a few girls named Emery/Emory, so it feels slightly feminine.
Gunnar -- not a fan. I know it actually has nothing to do with guns, but it sounds violent to me.
Crispin -- Love this!
Piers -- nms personally, but I like it a lot.
Simon -- love it

Some favorite combinations:

Simon Piers
Crispin August
Ronan Gray
August Piers
Jonas Gray
Tobias Crispin

Here are some sibling groupings that leap out at me:

1) Simon, Tobias, Solomon, Jonas/Jonah, Susannah

2) Adeline, Susannah, Lilla, Camilla, Clair, Simon, Jonah, August

3) Astrid, Sylvia, Crispin

4) Piper, Reese, Porter, Grayson

5) Fiona, Ronan, Clair

Some comments:

Girls in no order
Lilla -- love this, especially if you have a French heritage and it's pron. Lee-lah
Astrid -- sounds very harsh to me
Belle -- pretty, but overused right now
Lucia -- if pronounced Lu-chee-ah, I love it
Susannah -- very nice
Camilla -- makes me think of the Muppets (Gonzo's girlfriend), but I love Camille
Piper -- cool
Reese -- also cool
Clair -- love it
Fiona -- not my style

Boys in no order
Jonas/Jonah - I love Jonah
Porter -- cool
Solomon -- too Biblical for me, but nice
Tobias -- not my style
Ronan -- love it
Grayson -- not my style
August - nice
Emory - very common on girls these days
Gunnar - love it, love it - especially if you have German or Scandinavian background
Crispin - makes me think of Crispin Glover
Piers - neat, and I also like Pierce (but I'm guessing Piers is a form of Peter from another language)
Simon - like it

AJ, enjoying life with C.

Girls
Lilla- is this pronounced lil-uh or lie-luh? I like both, just wanted to make sure it is lil-uh... if you want lie-luh, I would spell it Lila. Lily names are pretty popular though
Adeline- gorgeous, one of my favourites
Astrid- great name, so spunky
Belle- cute, but maybe a bit too cute KWIM?
Lucia- gorgeous, love the nn Lucy
Sylvia/Sylvie- nms, it fits right into the type of names I like (a bit old fashioned) but I find it a bit bland
Susannah- see Sylvia
Camilla- love this
Piper- nms... seems a bit too much
Reese- Like this, but prefer it as Rhys on a boy
Clair- Like this a lot, very sweet, but like the Claire spelling better, seems more complete
Fiona- nice, gaining in popularity since Shrek though

Boys
Jonas/Jonah- LOVE this... a great, uncommon choice
Porter- okay... like it better if it is a family surname
Solomon- love this, very sweet
Tobias- So spunky
Ronan- Prefer Roan
Grayson- too trendy
August- sweet, like the nn Gus
Emory- seems feminine
Gunnar- too harsh, probably because it has "gun" in it
Crispin- okay...
Piers- nms
Simon- my all time favourite boy name :)

Great lists! Here are my thoughts:

Girls in no order

Lilla-I love Lily/Lilia/Lillian/Liliana/Lila, but for some reason Lilla doesn't do it for me.

Adeline-I love it! This has been at the top of my list for a while, but I wouldn't personally use it these days on account of the extream popularity of Addison.

Astrid-This is nms. It's probably the 'ass' part. Sorry.

Belle-Ooh, yes. I love the simplicity of this.

Lucia-Gorgeous, & Lucy or Lulu are both great nns.

Sylvia/Sylvie-Ah, that's fabulous.

Susannah-That's very nice.

Camilla-This is nice. I like Millie.

Piper-That's nms. It just doesn't strike me as a name.

Reese-This is too masculine.

Clair-I like this w/an 'e' on the end.

Fiona-Very pretty.

Boys in no order

Jonas/Jonah-Those are both really cool. I like Jonas a tad more.

Porter-That's nms, but there's nothing wrong w/it.

Solomon-Very strong. I like it.

Tobias-Ah, this is so cool. I love Tobias.

Ronan-Handsome.

Grayson-This is nice. I like Gray a lot.

August-Very nice.

Emory-I personally like this, but would be scared to use it for a boy.

Gunnar-That's nms. The 'gun' part turns me off.

Crispin-That's very cool.

Piers-I like this in theory, but really prefer Pierce.

Simon-Adorable.
